QUICK ANSWER Getwash Express Laundry comes in two speeds: 24-Hour Kiloan at Rp25,000 (accepted until 1:00 PM) and 8-Hour Kiloan at Rp35,000 (accepted until 3:00 PM), charged per kilogram. Your laundry is washed separately from other customers', dried, ironed, and returned in under 24 hours. You can order via the website, WhatsApp, or social media. Pickup and delivery has been charged by zone since 20 June 2026: Rp8,000, Rp15,000, or Rp22,000 per trip, measured from the nearest outlet. |
Some days turn laundry from a chore into an emergency. A shirt for tomorrow morning's presentation, a school uniform discovered dirty the night before, clothes for an afternoon flight, or guest towels that were never washed even though visitors arrive tonight. On days like these, you don't just need clean. You need clean on time.
This guide explains Getwash Express Laundry from start to finish: the prices and how Regular, Express, and Sat Set differ; the order cut-off times that decide whether your laundry is ready today or tomorrow; the process that still runs even when time is short; which items can be expressed; and how to keep the cost down. If you are searching for a nearest laundry or laundry near me you can rely on in a hurry, the sections below are written to answer exactly that.

7. FAQ: Questions About Express Laundry
Express laundry is a washing service with a shortened turnaround, where your order is moved ahead of regular laundry in the queue. At Getwash it follows the same workflow as every other service: items are inspected, washed separately from other customers' laundry, dried, ironed, and packed. What differs is queue priority and speed of completion.
Getwash uses premium detergent, industrial-standard dryers, and modern energy-efficient machines. Customer laundry is washed separately, and order status can be followed from your phone on the tracking page.
For kiloan laundry, Getwash offers three speed levels. The difference matters because it affects price, turnaround, and the order cut-off.
On the Express Laundry page the options are named slightly differently: 24-Hour Kiloan and 8-Hour Kiloan. In practice they correspond to Express and Sat Set above, and we explain how they relate in the pricing section.
Express is not the answer to everything. If your clothes are not urgent, Regular is cheaper and gives the process more breathing room. Garments that need special methods, such as suits, kebaya, and delicate fabrics, are safer through dry cleaning or wet cleaning according to their label, and not every item type has an express option. We list them in the items section.
“Estimated times may vary depending on the volume and type of laundry.” — Getwash Laundry, FAQ on turnaround time
The quote above from our FAQ makes one thing clear: speed is a target we work towards, but volume and type of laundry still affect the result. For very tight deadlines, confirm with Customer Service first.
Getwash express prices can be read from two sources that explain each other: the Express Laundry service page and the Laundry Kiloan page. Here is the summary.
Kiloan laundry prices per kilogram by speed
The minimum order for kiloan laundry is 3 kg. The prices above are per kilogram, excluding pickup and delivery fees.
Two options on the Express Laundry page
One detail is easy to miss: Rp25,000 and Rp35,000 are exactly the Wash & Iron rates at the Express and Sat Set levels on the kiloan page. So the 24-Hour and 8-Hour options can be read as a faster wash-and-iron service. If you only need washing and folding, ask Customer Service for the Wash & Folding rate, which is lower (Rp18,000 for Express and Rp30,000 for Sat Set).
An express price is the regular price plus a priority fee. Let's calculate the gap so the decision is clearer.
Extra cost of express compared with regular
From the numbers above, one pattern stands out. On Wash & Iron, going from Express to Sat Set adds only Rp10,000/kg, even though the estimate falls from about 1 working day to about 8 hours. In other words, once you've decided to pay for express, the extra to go faster is relatively small. On Wash & Folding the gap is Rp12,000/kg, a more noticeable leap. So if your laundry needs ironing and is truly urgent, Sat Set is often the sensible choice.
Because prices are per kilogram, the cost of speed grows with the weight. On a 5 kg Wash & Iron order, the gap between Regular and Sat Set isn't Rp20,000 but Rp100,000. So separate what is truly urgent from ordinary laundry: send the clothes you need tomorrow as Express or Sat Set, and the rest as Regular.
3 kg × Rp25,000 = Rp75,000. For comparison, Regular for the same weight is Rp45,000, so the cost of speed is Rp30,000.
5 kg × Rp35,000 = Rp175,000. Regular for the same weight is Rp75,000, a gap of Rp100,000. This laundry is worth it only if the flight truly cannot be moved.
(2 kg Wash & Iron Sat Set × Rp35,000) + (4 kg Wash & Iron Regular × Rp15,000) = Rp70,000 + Rp60,000 = Rp130,000. If all 6 kg went as Sat Set, it would cost Rp210,000. Splitting the order saves Rp80,000 (about 38%) without compromising the urgent clothes.
The Express Laundry page mentions pickup and delivery with no minimum order. Please note that since 20 June 2026, Getwash pickup and delivery has been charged by zone, per trip from the nearest outlet: Zone 1 (0–3 km) Rp8,000, Zone 2 (3–7 km) Rp15,000, and Zone 3 (over 7 km) Rp22,000. A complete order (pickup and return) means two trips: Rp16,000, Rp30,000, or Rp44,000. If you drop off and collect at the outlet yourself, there is no zone fee. We explain the reasons for the adjustment in Getwash Pickup and Delivery Price Update. Customer Service will confirm the fee for your address before pickup.
Because the fee is fixed, its weight is heavier on small orders. For 3 kg Wash & Folding Express (Rp54,000), a Zone 2 round trip (Rp30,000) is about 36% of the Rp84,000 total. For 5 kg Wash & Iron Sat Set (Rp175,000), the same fee is only about 15% of the Rp205,000 total. If you use express often, bundling several items into one trip reduces that share.
Pickup and delivery fees, extra stain treatment, and special care are charged separately.
On price comparison: we could not find a public express price list from competitors that could be compared fairly, so no competitor figures appear here. Our advice is to compare scope: is it washed separately, is there a clear cut-off time, and can the status be tracked?
Rather than jumping to the fastest option, answer these five questions. The result usually points to the best fit and the most economical choice.
By avoiding those five mistakes, an express price that looks expensive often shrinks into a fair difference for the peace of mind you get.
Households with school-age children tend to use express seasonally: the start of the school year, sports days, or when a uniform is suddenly stained. For them, an efficient pattern is to keep a spare set in the wardrobe and use Regular for routine laundry, then use express only when the spare set is also in use.
Office workers have a different pattern: shirts for Monday. Order on Sunday morning as Express, or on Friday afternoon as Regular if you can. Small business owners, such as cafés, salons, or studios, often need linen and uniforms back before opening. For regular volumes like that, B2B laundry is a better fit because its schedule is designed to repeat rather than being ad hoc.
Understanding these terms helps you compare offers correctly, at Getwash or elsewhere. Two offers with similar numbers can differ in scope: one includes ironing, one doesn't; one charges per kilogram, one per piece.
As a simple exercise, imagine comparing two offers. The first is Rp25,000 per kilogram including ironing, with a 1:00 PM cut-off. The second is Rp20,000 per kilogram without ironing, with an unclear cut-off. That Rp5,000 gap can vanish instantly if you have to iron for two hours yourself, or if the laundry actually returns the day after tomorrow. So an offer's value always needs to be judged on scope and certainty of timing, not just the number on the flyer.
The question we receive most about express is not about price but: "if I order now, when will it be ready?" The answer is decided by the time of your order.
Order cut-off times and what to expect
The Express Laundry page lists acceptance until 1:00 PM for 24-Hour Kiloan and 3:00 PM for 8-Hour Kiloan. Meanwhile, the guidance on the Laundry Kiloan page advises ordering Sat Set before 1:00 PM for same-day completion, with orders after 1:00 PM finished the next day.
These two numbers need not contradict each other. The 3:00 PM figure is the last time of acceptance, while 1:00 PM is the safe time for same-day return. Our suggested rule: send before 1:00 PM if you need it tonight, and confirm with Customer Service if you are between 1:00 and 3:00 PM.
The 8-hour estimate starts when your laundry is received at the outlet, not when you send the message. Since outlets operate 9:00 AM–8:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM–5:00 PM on weekends, an earlier order almost always gives a more accurate result.
A cut-off is often seen as a one-sided limit, but it is how a promise is kept. Laundry needs a minimum time to be washed, dried, ironed, and packed, not counting the courier's journey. If an order is accepted too late, the remaining time that day isn't enough, and forcing it means sacrificing quality or promising something we can't deliver. So we'd rather be honest from the start: an afternoon order finished well tomorrow, rather than rushed tonight with a poor result.
For customers, understanding this logic is useful. If your deadline is in the afternoon, move your order to the morning. If your deadline is tomorrow morning, order today before noon to leave a buffer. And if your schedule is very tight, talk to Customer Service first, because they can see the queue at that moment and give the most realistic estimate.
The English page states that same-day service is available every day, including weekends. Given that outlets close earlier on weekends (5:00 PM), for Sat Set 8-hour on a weekend order as soon as possible after opening. Orders arriving in the afternoon are more likely to be returned the next day.
Four steps to order express laundry
When ordering, mention three things: the approximate weight or amount, the speed you want, and what time you need it. These three details are enough for Customer Service to give you certainty.
Speed does not mean skipping steps. Getwash express laundry still goes through the same workflow, which we call the 11 care stages: courier collection, inspection, documentation, spotting (stain removal), washing, drying, pressing, hand finishing, detailing, packaging, and delivery. In express, what is accelerated is the queue and scheduling, not the inspection.
“Our team always checks all pockets before the washing process begins.” — Getwash Laundry, FAQ on items left in pockets
Pocket checking is a small example of that discipline. Items left behind are kept and returned at delivery, though we still recommend checking your own pockets before handing over clothes.
Customer laundry is washed separately from other people's. On a fast service, where processing times sit close together, this separation prevents mixing and helps protect the colour and scent of clothes. The detergent used is described as safe for fabrics from cotton to silk, and stain handling uses professional spotting agents: Getwash is an official distributor of SEITZ spotting agents from Germany and A.L. Wilson from the United States, so fresh stains can be handled faster and more precisely.
For specific stains, ink stain removal, rust stain removal, and colour bleed removal can be added to your order. Remember that stain removal adds processing time, so if you are chasing a deadline, say so early.
Myth 1: express means a careless wash
No. Speed is achieved by prioritising the queue and scheduling work more tightly, not by cutting inspection or washing. Inspection, separation, and packaging are still carried out.
Myth 2: express always means ready today
Not always. Express means about one working day. What finishes the same day is Sat Set, provided the order arrives before the cut-off and the queue allows. So confirm your deadline every time.
Myth 3: every item can be expressed at the kiloan price
No. The kiloan price applies to clothing. Shoes, bags, bedcovers, and specialty items have their own per-item rates, and their express options are confirmed per order.
Myth 4: express is always far more expensive
It depends on how you use it. If only the urgent clothes go as express, the cost gap is small. What makes it expensive is sending everything at once.
Many delays are not caused by the process at the outlet but by missing information at the start. Three simple habits speed everything up: photograph the laundry before sending for documentation, send a complete message (address, approximate weight, deadline), and make sure someone can receive the laundry at delivery. A failed delivery because no one is home is the easiest delay to avoid.
This example is only an outline of the flow, not a guarantee of timing for every order. The actual hours depend on the queue and distance. But the sequence reflects how a morning order can finish the same day.
Items with an express option
The English page mentions that a same-day dry cleaning option can be chosen when ordering. For suits, shirts, and formal wear that you need quickly, dry cleaning is available, with a normal time of 5–7 working days, so the express option for dry cleaning should be confirmed for each order.
Express speeds up completion, but it does not change the limits of what can be handled. Old stains that have set, fabric that has become fragile, and colour bleed that has already spread still have limits on results. For our additional stain removal services, fresh stains generally have about a 70–90% chance of coming out, while old stains about 25–60%, depending on stain type and fabric. The sooner a stain is treated, the better the odds. If you know there's a stain, don't wait: send it as express.
Laundry that has been expressed should be hung or stored right away rather than stacked in a closed bag for long. Ironed shirts stay crisp best when hung straight away. Clothes you are taking on a trip should be roll-folded to avoid creasing in a suitcase. If any part is not to your satisfaction, tell Customer Service as soon as possible so it can be reviewed.
A home washing machine can finish a cycle in one to two hours, but drying and ironing often take longest, especially in the rain. With express, the most time-consuming parts are done with industrial-standard dryers and professional ironing. For many people, what they are buying with express is not a washing machine but time they can spend on something else.
Compare also the hidden cost of washing at home: electricity, water, detergent, softener, and ironing time. There is no single figure that fits every household, but if you put a value on an hour of your time, the Rp10,000 per kilogram gap for Sat Set on Wash & Iron often feels reasonable.
A few experiences from Getwash customers who used express, as listed on our service page, describe the same situation from different angles:
The pattern in these stories matches what we see every day: customers choose express not because they enjoy paying more, but because they have a deadline that cannot move. And almost always, the key to success is an earlier order time and a clearly stated deadline.
Demand for express rises at certain moments: the start of the school year, before Eid and long holidays, the rainy season, and at month-end when many people travel for work. In these periods the queue is heavier, so ordering earlier and stating your deadline matter more than usual. If you know your schedule well ahead, using Regular with a well-timed pickup is almost always cheaper.
No service is perfect every time. If part of your laundry is not clean enough, is later than promised, or has a problem, contact Customer Service as soon as possible and include your order number and a photo. The sooner you tell us, the easier it is for the team to trace the cause and put it right. You can ask about our complaint and claim terms when you order.
Express is often the entry point. After trying it, many customers go on to other services: kiloan laundry for the weekly routine, dry cleaning for formal clothes, shoe cleaning for a footwear collection, and Maison de Bag for luxury bags. All can be ordered and tracked in the same way, so you don't have to learn a new system each time.
Beyond household customers, Getwash serves business clients through B2B laundry for hotels, clinics, restaurants, and fitness centres. Getwash has also partnered with Hariom's Tailor, a bespoke tailor in Pasar Baru, Jakarta, since December 2023. The habit of handling valuable items with procedure, documentation, and tracking is what we apply to express as well.
Getwash has 18 outlets in South Tangerang, Tangerang City, and West Jakarta. The Express Laundry page mentions coverage in Bintaro, Ciputat, Ciledug, Serpong, Karawaci, Pamulang, and Veteran. Express laundry is a washing service with a shortened turnaround and priority in the queue. Getwash offers 24-Hour Kiloan and 8-Hour Kiloan, with a workflow that still includes inspection, separate washing, drying, ironing, and packaging.
The Express Laundry page lists 24-Hour Kiloan at Rp25,000 and 8-Hour Kiloan at Rp35,000 per kilogram. Those figures match the Wash & Iron rates at Express and Sat Set level. For Wash & Folding, Express is Rp18,000/kg and Sat Set Rp30,000/kg. Minimum 3 kg.
Regular takes about 4 working days, Express about 1 working day, and Sat Set about 8 hours. The faster the speed, the higher the rate per kilogram.
Express takes about 1 working day (24 hours) and Sat Set about 8 hours. Times can vary depending on volume and type of laundry, and can sometimes be faster.
The service page lists acceptance until 1:00 PM for 24-Hour Kiloan and 3:00 PM for 8-Hour Kiloan. To be safe for same-day completion, order Sat Set before 1:00 PM and confirm with Customer Service if you order later.

Yes, the service is available on weekends within opening hours of 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Because outlets close earlier, order as early as possible for Sat Set so it can be completed.
No. Since 20 June 2026, pickup and delivery is charged by zone: Rp8,000 (0–3 km), Rp15,000 (3–7 km), and Rp22,000 (over 7 km) per trip from the nearest outlet. A complete order means two trips. Dropping off and collecting at an outlet carries no zone fee. Customer Service will confirm the fee for your address.
Kiloan laundry has a 3 kg minimum. The Express Laundry page mentions pickup with no minimum order; please confirm the latest terms with Customer Service when ordering.
No. Laundry is washed separately from other customers' laundry.
On Wash & Iron, yes. If you only need washing and folding, choose Wash & Folding, which is more economical.
Yes, shoes, bags, uniforms and suits, blankets, bedcovers, pillows, and baby items have express options. Prices and estimates for non-kiloan items are confirmed per order.
The English page mentions same-day dry cleaning can be chosen when ordering. Because the normal dry cleaning time is 5–7 working days, ask Customer Service about availability and cost.
Yes. Baby kiloan laundry has a 1-day express service, with a regular estimate of 4–5 working days.
Our team checks all pockets before washing. Items found are stored safely and returned at delivery.
In many cases fresh stains can be treated, but not every stain will come out, especially old ones. Fresh stains generally have about a 70–90% chance with our additional stain removal services, old stains about 25–60%.

Prices are per kilogram with a 3 kg minimum for kiloan laundry. For small loads, the pickup fee becomes a bigger share of the bill, so combining laundry into one order is more economical.
Contact Customer Service as soon as possible and quote your order number. A change depends on the stage of work and the cut-off at that moment.
